It has struck again.
First it was Dylan. He had a hacking cough and was home from school for a WEEK.
Then it was Zach. He also had a hacking cough (that, at one point, I was convinced was Whooping Cough) and on Sunday developed a 104.6 degree fever. Fun times. Especially when Tylenol didn’t bring it down. Sigh.
Here’s a video to give you an idea of what it’s been like at our house for the past two weeks. After Zach’s whooping cough scare, I was trying to get a video evidence. Thankfully, the whooping sound had disappeared overnight. But we were left with this pathetic excuse for the world’s cutest 2 year old.
Now? I have it. Of fucking course. Well, I have the head cold portion of it. Luckily, so far, I haven’t developed the hacking cough part.
Fingers crossed.
Anyway, I have so much to fill you guys in on. But it’s going to have to wait, because sitting up and typing and, like, thinking, is making me really tired. And my eyes are watery and my nose is starting to run.

Thanks, once again, for sticking with me the past few weeks month. I know I’ve been MIA.
I have a TON of really awesome stuff to share with you. Once I’m capable of being upright for more than 30 minutes at at time.

oh no!! we have all passed the ick around except for my husband and maybe thats a good thing b/c i do not want to deal with a man cold! my 2 school age boys have passed this around twice, with the baby and i only getting it once. poor zach! makes me wanna crawl under the covers with him and snuggle

That was the saddest thing ever. Course my 2 yr old has had chronic couging/congestion/ear infections, but hopefully the tubes will fix it next week. I just got over the flu so I know how you feel, hope you both feel better soon!
God love his sweet heart…i hate sick babies and he looked like he felt horrible. Tatum is sick now, came home from school with a fever and earache, hopefully nothing more serious than an ear infection. Her granddad is taking her to the urgent care as we speak (or type…ummm yeah…). He has never taken her to the dr before and while i trust him, it’s hard not going with them and hearing exactly what the Dr has to say. So hopefully nothing major and just a round of antibiotics will clear it up. Hope you all get better soon!!
It’s going around. It’s been almost a week now and we’re all still dealing with it here.

I had the head cold, sucked. The wife and one kid had the stomach flu. Sucked harder. I hope it all passes soon, because no matter how hard it sucks, it sucks.

we are just starting to come out of the ick as well. i’m sorry, I know how you feel. I don’t have video proof, just black eyes at this point from motherhood induced exhaustion. Top of our ick with a traveling husband, not nice universe, not nice.
