Well, HELLO there!
Notice anything different?
Maybe the new look?
Or the new name?
Since everything in my life is changing lately, I felt an urge to change things up a bit here as well.
A new direction for my site to commemorate all the big things happening to me behind the scenes.
What big things, you ask?
WELL:
1) We finally have a house! A real house with bedrooms and a kitchen and a living room and it’s all ours! At least, so long as we pay our rent on time. Big relief there.
2) As soon as I had a signed lease agreement I was able to head over to the elementary school and get Dylan registered for Kindergarten. He starts Monday morning at 8:15am in Room 7 with Mrs. W. I am so excited but also so nervous for him. He doesn’t deal well with change and new situations. And we have a lot of both happening right now.
3) Had my 37 week OB appointment yesterday. I’m now dilated to 4cm and have been having some contractions, so things are definitely happening. When they start to happen for REAL, though, is anybody’s guess. I’m shooting for tomorrow because it works out perfectly for me. Not sure I have any real control over that. Plus, DJ is golfing, and I’d hate to ruin that for him. We’ve been so busy with moving lately that he hasn’t had a day to golf in ages. Which means I’ll probably go into labor right around the 4th tee.
I have some more work to do to get this new design prettied up and functioning to my liking. So don’t be surprised if it continues to change.
Change is the name of the game around here, lately. I’m learning to roll with it.

You have so much going on at once…girl, you must be tired! You are a brave soul to be involved in so many new things at once. Wishing you lots of luck with everything, especially your upcoming delivery. Are your boys excited about the new baby? I have a 3 year old son and am expecting our 2nd baby in January and am curious as to how other older brothers take to their baby siblings.

Oh and isn’t it true that the hospital will keep you if you are 4 cms? well i guess it depends on the hospital, but i thought that i had heard that somewhere, i was only 3 with Tatum and they kept me, but i was in active labor….so…. It’s so…different! My eyes are trying to adjust to the brightness of the white! I miss the yellow! Honestly, it looks great! Congratulations on the house, the 4cm, the kindergarten, everything. How exciting.
I found that a light food poisoning really helps speed up the whole labor process. Just a thought. Something for you to try out if you get desperate.
