Three Months

Dear Oliver,

Today you are three months old.

TRES MESES, OMG.

And the best part?  You are a delight.

In the past month, you have become more of a little boy.  You love to smile and interact with people.

In fact, you are quite vocal about your displeasure when you aren’t being paid attention to appropriately.  You yell.  But, the second someone picks you up, you quiet down.

And then, if we talk to you, your eyes light up, your entire face smiles and you talk back.

When I say talk, I mean TALK. It’s almost like you’re carrying on an entire conversation.

You’re getting better at sleeping for longer periods (thank goodness) and you’re starting to move toward taking fewer, longer naps during the day.

You took your first (of many) trips to Sacramento to visit with my family for Thanksgiving.  You were a champion traveler, and you successfully charmed everyone.

It’s not hard to see why.

Happy Three Month Birthday, little boy.
