Sending You Elsewhwere

by Meghan on July 26, 2011

So, today the boys and I were supposed to meet their Grandma and cousins at their Great Grandma’s house for a day of swimming fun.

And then at 6:30am, Zach came into my room saying he was going to throw up. And throw up he did. And then he spent the rest of the morning throwing up. Poor kid couldn’t keep anything down. Thank goodness for the trusty throw up bowl. Gag.

I sent Dylan with his Grandma and crabby teething baby and I have been sitting around with Zach and watching movies. So far it’s been Cars, Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 2. He hasn’t thrown up in an hour or so, but he just ate some goldfish crackers, so time will tell.

FINGERS CROSSED.

Anyway, as I listened to the movies and kept an eye on listless Zach, I worked on a post on From Demo to Dream. It’s before, during and after photos of our first backyard redo. If you’re so inclined, head on over and take a look. If you couldn’t care less, that’s cool too. But please, at least cross your fingers that the puke is over.

Home with a puked out six year old. So far it’s been Gnomeo and Juliet, Wall-E, and Here Comes Science. I would pay any amount of money if you could have your mom come here and take my relentless, bored, annoying eight year old ANYWHERE.

Godspeed. Hope the puking’s done. I love washing out that bowl!

Oh man, the throw up. I got a call from our sitter on Saturday night that my four year old spiked a fever and seemed to not feel well. I crossed my fingers and toes that he wouldn’t start barfing until we got home at least.

I gotta say, I am super impressed that he is able to tell you he’s going to throw up.

My children do not possess this skill. I don’t even possess it…
