About

The Blogger Formerly Known as AMomTwoBoys

I’m a 30-something stay at home mom to three boys.

Yes, three.  And before you ask, NO, this last time around, we weren’t trying for a girl.

I’m currently still married to their father, although we re-evaluate this situation on a regular basis.  Kidding.

We live near the beach, in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA.  Sadly, we don’t take nearly as much advantage of our location as we should.  Hopefully that will change as the boys get bigger.  Trips to the beach will be frequent, and as soon as I find a babysitter, trips to the Santa Ynez Valley to go  wine tasting will be frequent as well.  *fingers crossed*

In this vein, I’m working on starting hoping to someday start a website dedicated to the amazing things that Santa Barbara has to offer.  Truthfully, it really just gives me an awesome excuse to try local restaurants and attend fun events.  As soon as Oliver is a little bigger and less needy (babies, man) I’ll dive head first into getting the site up and running.  So stay tuned, because hopefully it will make you want to come and visit me.

I love food, wine and cooking.  I’m not a connoisseur of any of them, but that doesn’t stop me from talking about and enjoying them as if I were.  I wear flip flops pretty much all the time, and own more elastic waist pants than is advisable for someone my age.  In the near future, I hope to be able to dress like a grown up.  A fun, cool, totally hip and fashionable grown up, of course.  I also like to take pictures, although I’m far from calling myself even an amateur photographer.

Last year we bought a house, on a whim (I KNOW) and are currently living in it while we remodel it from top to bottom. It is…an adventure. To say the least. You can follow along on the website dedicated to our remodeling adventure, From Demo to Dream.

I should warn you that I’m often sarcastic and frequently foul-mouthed.  I lean to the left of Liberal and have questionable taste in music.  I’m also a Yankees fan.  I hope you don’t hold any of these things against me.

If you want to reach me, feel free to email me at meghangwine@gmail.com, @ me on Twitter or friend me on Facebook (those links are over there —–>).  If you’re a real go getter you can do all three.

If you’re a brand or PR person and want to work with me, you must be really smart.  And you look fabulous today, too.  You can email me at meghangwine@gmail.com as well.

Thanks for stopping by.  I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Hey… I tagged you just now with a silly web award (but do enjoy your blog a lot). I just realized reading this page that you are the same Meghan at All Mediocre. I guess the font should have given it away lol.

Hey Meghan,

Found you in one of those “click all over the place” sessions on the ‘Net and think we may be kindred spirits. I mean, I love wine too, and often consider throwing MY children out the window–you might want to consider that option. I also love the look of your blog and even this font! Anyhoo, just wanted to say “hi” and keep up the good work, here on your blog and on the home front. The reason that moms like you and I require wine is because we are doing the hardest job ever!

All the best to you!

Hey Jen!

Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comment!

It’s always nice to hear that I’m not the only one being driven crazy by my kids!

I stopped by your site, I LOVE your bags! Please let me know if you’d ever like to partner on a review/giveaway…I’d love to help you get your name out there more!

You are obviously an amazing friend to Heather and I just wanted to drop a note to tell you how incredible it is to see (via the web) everything you’re doing for the family during this terrible time of loss. I recently found your blog/Twitter and look forward to reading more in the future.

I too just recently found your blog through mrskutcher on Twitter. I am so very saddened to read about precious Maddie. So much prayer and love continues to reach out to her family. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I love your Web name! I also have two boys, but ages 14 (in April) and 17 (March) so I might be a good resourse for things to come! Happy Easter >— >— >— >— >—
